[EN]: A comparative study disaggregated by gender of the scientific production in Educational Psychology of researchers working in Spanish institutions is carried out. A total of 1949 authors have been identified who have published some work in journals indexed in the Psychology Educational category in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) corresponding to the years 2008-2018. The 56.44% of the authors identified were women versus 41.92% of men and a 1.64% of authors could not be identified. Longitudinal analysis of Spanish doctoral theses in education (1841-2012)

This article analyzes the research output of doctoral theses in the field of Education defended in Spain from 1841-2012. It offers a quantified global and diachronic view of such series. As a landmark to note is the fact that until 1954, obtaining a doctoral degree was centralized at the Complutense University of Madrid. They are used as search engines bibliographic databases: TESEO and institutional repositories, and basic bibliography of the area to carry out the collection of the sample. Resumen La abundancia y nivel de las publicaciones científicas constituye un indicador de la capacidad, trayectoria y calidad científica de un país, área temática o grupo de investigación. El grado de visibilidad internacional de una revista es un importante indicador sobre su calidad y cada vez es más considerado por las agencias de evaluación de los méritos científicos.
